IT/Data Business Analyst (m/f/n)
Department: Grid Support & Data Services | Location: Luxembourg | Contract: Permanent | Job Requisition N°20165
Your tasks
- You gather, analyse and prioritise business needs in close collaboration with business stakeholders and IT teams
- You model business objects into conceptional and logical data models to support the roll-out of the data strategy
- You support the business in the setup of clear business definitions of the relevant data objects used across the company (Grid assets, Finance, Metering,…)
- You translate business requirements into clear functional specifications to support the design and implementation of IT solutions
- You map, analyse and optimise business processes to improve efficiency and align them with the company's strategy
- You coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), support go-live activities and ensure solutions meet business expectations
- You train and support end users, providing guidance and documentation to facilitate the adoption of new applications and functionalities
- You manage the lifecycle of business requests, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, timeline and budget
- You act as the key interface between Business and IT, facilitating communication, decision-making and continuous collaboration
- You monitor and continuously improve IT-supported business processes while ensuring compliance with governance, service quality and business objectives
Your profile
- University Degree in Information Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent
- You have first experiences in business analysis, data modelling and process modelling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a high degree of self-motivation
- You show entrepreneurship and are results-oriented
- Strong analytical skills and a strong problem-solving ability
- You have effective verbal and written communication skills in English and French or German; Luxemburgish is considered as an asset
