IT Software & Hardware Asset Manager (m/f/n)

Your tasks
IT Asset Management:
- You ensure complete management of the company’s software and hardware assets and maintain an accurate and op-to-date inventory
- You implement effective asset management processes to ensure compliance and optimize costs
Controls and Audits:
- You perform periodic reviews to verify software and hardware usage and compliance
- You prepare and manage asset audits initiated by software and hardware vendors
- You work with internal and external stakeholders to respond to audit request and ensure compliance with license agreements
Inventory Management:
- You plan and oversee periodic inventories of software and hardware assets
- You analyse inventory results and take corrective action as needed
- You use asset management tools to automate and improve inventory processes
Negotiate with suppliers:
- You negotiate software license agreements and hardware purchases with vendors
- You establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure favourable contract terms
- You monitor contract renewals and ensure cost optimization
License Management and Compliance:
- You manage software licenses to ensure compliance and optimal usage
- You monitor license agreements and ensure compliance
- You implement software asset management policies to prevent the risk of non-compliance
Reporting and Analysis:
- You provide management with regular reports on the status of software and hardware assets
- You analyse asset data to identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- You develop key performance indicators (KPI’s) to monitor asset management performance
Your profile
- University Degree, or equivalent, in Information Technology, Computer Sciences or another related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar IT asset management role, with expertise in software and hardware licence management
- You have working knowledge of technologies and architectures
- In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes
- Proficiency with asset management tools such as Lansweeper
- Experience of ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
- In-depth knowledge of software and hardware asset management tools and best practices
- Experience in managing audits and compliance reviews
- Skills in negotiating and managing supplier contracts
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- You have highly effective verbal and written communication skills in French and English. The knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish is considered an asset.
