Lead Buyer (m/f/n)

Your tasks
• You develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy for the assigned material groups
• You build and maintain an effective communication with all relevant stakeholders on the assigned material groups and provide guidance on procurement process
• You will be the point of contact to manage the communication and relationship with external vendors in a transparent and compliant way
• You build and maintain expertise and market intelligence in the assigned material groups
• You coordinate invitations to tender for public and non-public market in collaboration with our teams
• You will assist in setting up specifications and issuing invitations to tender in accordance with internal procedures and/or European directives
• You will manage all aspects of public tender procurement as projects, including preparation, issuance, evaluation and award of vendors ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• You publish invitations to tender on the PMP platform for public procurement contracts and monitor requests to participate and the deadlines set by the European directives
• You will evaluate bids, negotiate prices, select qualified suppliers and monitor orders
• You set up contracts and orders for suppliers and handle complaints
• You will negotiate supply agreements
• You contribute to the development and consolidation of the current and future supplier base and maintain excellent business relationships with these partners
Your profile
• You hold a university degree in Purchasing/Logistics, Engineering or similar
• You have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role
• You have a good knowledge of public procurement procedures
• You are customer-focused and have good negotiating skills
• You have a genuine interest in technical issues
• You are committed, rigorous and results-oriented
• Perseverance, initiative and team spirit are your hallmarks
• You are fluent in French, German and English. Knowledge of Luxembourgish is an advantage
