Beyond our role as an electricity and gas grid operator, Creos is a committed partner. As the main player in the energy sector in Luxembourg, Creos is committed to actively protecting the environment by implementing several measures, including the underground installation of the electricity networks and the proper integration of our installations into the environmental environment. We have thus been awarded the label "Socially Responsible Company". 

In order to protect our employees in the field in the best possible way, our HSE department regularly organizes safety conferences as well as training sessions with the objective of raising awareness of possible risks and preventing accidents at work.

Creos has decided to support the non-profit organization « Forum pour l’Emploi » to dismantle old electric meters. This partnership meets two main objectives: it provides work for people currently unemployed and it facilitates the recycling of raw materials. Creos pursues a policy of social responsibility by encouraging projects for talented young people at various levels. Thus, it sponsors the jersey of the “best young rider” in the Skoda Tour de Luxembourg. As a long-term partner, Creos funds the publication of a pocket guide from « natur&ëmwelt » each year. 

Our partnerships with the Luxembourg Science Center and the ANEIL underline our willingness to invest in science and technology education. This allows us to share the fascination of an exciting and constantly evolving field.

For several years now, Creos has also been replacing the traditional end-of-year gifts with donations to charities and associations recognised as being of public utility. In recent years, we have supported various organisations such as "Stëmm vun der Strooss", "Kanner-Jugendtelefon", "APEMH" and "Blëtz asbl".

A last traditional appointment in our calendar is Candlemas Day, called "Liichtmessdag" in Luxembourgish. Every year, children from the speech therapy center come to our premises with their lanterns.
