Responsible for IT Infrastructure (m/f/n)

Creos IT is looking for a “Responsible for IT Infrastructure”. The team in charge covers the management of the centralized computing platform (VMware), the storage landscape (SAN, NAS, S3) and the backup solution, and manages the Microsoft infrastructure (cloud and on-premises) and the VDI solution.

 

 

Your tasks

 

 

  • You are responsible and accountable for the continuous, safe, and efficient run of the service
  • You oversee the technical and managerial aspects of the team 
  • You prepare, control, and administer budgets to achieve maximum business results relating to overall performance, cost efficiency and reliability 
  • You define and document possible technological roadmaps, get approvals, and implement them
  • You improve results by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing security, policies, and procedures
  • You perform conformance checks, provide KPIs, solve incidents and problems, and ensure life cycle management
  • You organize project deployment and support procedure for technical and business projects

 

 

 

Your profile

 

 

  • University degree in Information Technology/Computer Sciences, Project Management or equivalent 
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Cogent expertise with incident management and risk management 
  • You have practical knowledge and proven experience in the covered technical domains (VMware, SAN, NAS, backup, Microsoft Servers, MSAD, M365, Azure, Citrix) 
  • Enhanced managerial skills combined with a strong collaborative mindset
  • You are familiar with information security on a day-to-day basis, and have implemented security guidelines in line with frameworks, regulations, standards and audits
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills in English and French. The knowledge of German and/or Luxemburgish will be considered as an advantage
