Your tasks
- As a project manager, you ensure the development of Smart Grid, grid flexibility and innovation projects, especially in the domain of Vehicle to Grid (V2G)
- You contribute to the definition and implementation of the Creos Smart Grid, flexibility and innovation strategies, with a particular focus on Vehicle-to-Grid integration
- You ensure that the projects are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations, quality, budget, and time requirements
- You monitor technological, market and business developments related to Vehicle-to-Grid and assess their relevance for Creos
- You coordinate a technical expert’s group from Creos around the topic of V2G
- You promote knowledge sharing across Creos by organizing workshops, presentations and exchanges on V2G developments
- You exchange with external stakeholders on the development of V2G in Luxembourg
- You identify and define the functional, technical and interoperability requirements required for the successful integration of V2G into the Creos grid, together with the relevant Subject Matter Experts from other departments
- You assess the potential impacts and benefits of V2G on the Creos grid, especially around grid congestion, flexibility, hosting capacity and network planning
- You initiate, coordinate and evaluate pilot projects together with external stakeholders and ensure that lessons learned are transferred into future business implementation
- You follow up on regulatory developments in relation to V2G at the national and European level (e.g. ISO 15118, OCPP, …) and make sure that Creos is compliant with these
- You continuously identify emerging technologies, market trends and innovative business models related to smart charging, bidirectional charging and V2G
- You benchmark V2G initiatives, flexibility mechanisms and best practices implemented by other European DSOs
- You ensure regular reporting to hierarchy
Your profile
- You hold a master’s degree in engineering, specialized in electrotechnics, energy systems or in any related field
- As a result, and solution orientated team player, you take responsibilities and decisions
- You show leadership, engagement and collaboration
- You have an open mind towards a changing energy environment and identify new opportunities
- You are familiar with IT technology and Data principles
- You have effective verbal and written communication skills in English. German, French and/or Luxembourgish are a plus
- Experience in the design and/or operation of an electricity grid is seen as a plus
