Internship in Quality Assurance (m/f/n)
Department: Enovos IT | Location: Esch-sur-Alzette| Contract: Internship (4-6 months)
As QA intern, you will work closely with Quality Assurance teams to assist in testing applications through both manual and automated processes. The primary focus will be on learning and contributing to onboarding testing process into projects, test case creation, automated testing, and tracking the quality of software releases.
Your tasks
- Test Case Development & Execution:
- Create, write, and execute detailed test cases and scenarios.
- Develop test scripts using tools such as Cypress, Katalon, or Python.
- Defect Management:
- Log, track, and manage defects using test management tools (e.g., Jira or AIO Test Management).
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain consistency in testing across different environments.
- Test Environment Setup:
- Assist in setting up and configuring test environments to ensure consistency and reliability of tests.
- Continuous Learning:
- Gain exposure to various testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and automated testing.
- Contribute to process improvements by staying up-to-date with the latest QA trends and tools.
Your profile
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiar with programming languages such as Python, Groovy scripting, Java, or JavaScript.
- Good understanding of manual testing concepts and SDLC.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills in English. A good knowledge of Luxembourgish, German or French will be considered as an advantage
